ROANE COUNTY LIBRARY
is a public institution whose mission is to provide for the informational, educational, cultural, recreational, and personal enrichment of the people of Roane County.
To accomplish this mission, a wide variety of materials in a wide range of formats are purchased. In addition, qualified personnel, who are provided with staff development opportunities, are hired.
The library is under the direction of a librarian holding a masters degree in library and information science from a university accredited by the American Library Association.
The board of directors of Roane County Library and the entire staff are committed to quality and excellence in the fulfillment of this mission.
